PREACH THIS GOSPEL
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. Matthew 24:14
KINGDOM MANDATE
The Number One Mandate in this hour is...
The Gospel of The Kingdom of God!
When Jesus began His earthly ministry, He preached “the gospel of the kingdom” (Matthew 4:23; Mark 1:14). The word “gospel” is derivedfrom the Greek word euangelion, which means “good news.” So Jesus was preaching “good news” about the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom means Government, so Jesus was preaching the good news of the Government of God.
The Kingdom of God and it's Good News, is the major theme through the Bible. Jesus began His earthly ministry proclaiming the arrival of the Kingdom of heaven. During His final days before His ascension, He taught concerning the Kingdom of God.
Religion has buried this Gospel and many today fail to tell a loss and dying world, why Jesus came and the Good News of The Kingdom of God.
The Gospel of The Kingdom of God Must Still be Preached Today
In the Matthew 24 (and 25) Olivet Prophecy, Christ was asked about those events that would be the signs of His Second Coming and of “the end of the world [age].” He answered that a number of different trends and conditions would occur first. In verse 14, He stated, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” The true gospel was prophesied to be preached until “the end come.” This plainly means that someonewill be preaching it now, in our present age—because the end has not yet come.
